Stellenbeschreibung

As the successful candidate for this key role, you will support the Head of Market Access Switzerland to create a robust local team to get optimal conditions of access for patients to new products or reimbursed products of the portfolio. You will report to the Head of Market Access Switzerland.

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mind-set, the ideal candidate has:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in health economics preferred, Ph.D. in sciences or Pharma
• 3+ years of Market Access experience, in an EU country or in Switzerland
• Fluent in German or French and English, good level in French or German
• Skills in delivering local solutions based on Global and Regional strategies are as important as the capacity to deliver business solutions based on local opportunities
• Demonstrated understanding and ability to apply principles, concepts, practices and standards related to health economics, pricing and reimbursement
• Ability to prepare robust Pricing & Reimbursement dossiers for payers
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within a matrix organization
• Strong negotiation skills
• Highly organized with a keen sense of what it takes to get the job done
• Result driven, business orientated and energetic self-starter with entrepreneurial mind-set and hands-on mentality
• Solid project management and relationship builder skills
• Ability to articulate ideas and information in a clear, inspirational and pragmatic manner
• Excellent collaboration skills in order to create with Head of Market Access a high-performing team in a good atmosphere

Responsibilities
• Country ecosystem analysis: activities that contribute towards developing a holistic understanding of the healthcare system and the implications for a specific asset / indication
• Country evidence generation: Activities that help generating required evidence / data for an asset / indication e.g. real-world evidence, literature review, health economic data (epidemiology, burden of disease, budget impact models)
• Country pricing and reimbursement strategy: Activities to define the optimized country approach to national list /access for patients (population reimbursed, gross & net pricing), and to decisions on reimbursement status
• P&R dossier: Preparation of submission documents for national or regional health technology assessment processes + national reimbursement and pricing filing
• Payer engagement: Active engagement with payers directly when possible, access decision makers and influencers at national and subnational levels (mapping, meetings, advisory boards, development of payer materials to support discussions and reimbursement e.g. formularies)
• Price negotiation with payers and hospitals (e.g. patient access schemes, tenders, rebates, discounts) & and related contract preparation
• External engagement: participation to market access meetings with Pharma association, KOLs visits, meetings with relevant stakeholder for the company access strategy
• Pricing evaluations: pricing forecasts, 10Y plan,, business cases (gross & net prices)
• Internal trainings & material development: preparation of value messages to support different departments (medical /commercial)
